By accessing or using Dudi PDF Editor, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms of Service and all applicable laws.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. About the Service

Dudi PDF Editor provides 60+ free browser-based utilities for document conversion and image editing. Most tools run locally in your browser — no files are uploaded to our servers. (AI features are the exception — see Section 7.)

Our tools include:

• PDF editing, merging, splitting, compressing
• PDF to Word, Excel, JPG, Text conversion
• Image resizing, compressing, converting, cropping
• QR code generation, password tools
• Word and Excel document creation
• AI Chat Bot and PDF Chat (server-side processing)

We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove tools at any time without prior notice.

• Branding and visual identity

6. User Files & Privacy

Dudi PDF Editor is designed with privacy as a core principle. For PDF editing tools:

• No server uploads — all processing happens locally in your browser
• No file storage — we never store, view, or access your documents
• No tracking — we don't log your files or their contents
• You retain ownership — your documents remain 100% yours

7. AI Features Usage

Dudi PDF Editor offers AI-powered features including AI Chat Bot, PDF Chat, and Image Generation. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

7.1 Server-Side Processing

• AI models (OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini) cannot run inside a browser — they require server-side processing.
• Your prompts and relevant content are sent to our server and forwarded to AI providers via encrypted API calls.
• We do not permanently store your AI requests. Basic error logs are auto-purged.
• We do not train AI models on your data, and we configure API calls to disable provider-side training.

7.2 What NOT to Share in AI Chat

Because AI content passes through servers, please do NOT input:

• Aadhaar, PAN, passport, or any government ID numbers
• Bank account details, credit card numbers, UPI IDs
• Passwords, OTPs, private keys, or API tokens
• Medical reports, legal contracts, or confidential business data
• Any personal information you would not want processed by an AI model

7.3 Acceptable AI Use

• Ask general questions, get document summaries, or generate non-sensitive content
• Use for learning, brainstorming, and productivity tasks
• Do NOT use AI features to generate illegal, harmful, abusive, or misleading content
• Do NOT attempt to bypass AI safety filters or provider policies

Dudi PDF Editor uses the following trusted third-party services:

• Hosting: Vercel
• Analytics: Google Analytics (ID: G-SWD13J3C5B), Vercel Web Analytics
• AI Providers: OpenAI, Google Gemini (only for AI Chat / PDF Chat / Image Generation)
• Image Generation: Pollinations AI
• Form Handling: FormSubmit (for contact form)

Each provider has its own terms and privacy policy. We only send the minimum data required for each feature to function. We do not share your PDF files with any third party — only the relevant text snippets needed to answer your AI question.

Our Service may also contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party sites. We recommend reviewing their terms before use.

9. Disclaimer of Warranty

THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY COMPANY ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. COMPANY MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Warranties about the accuracy or reliability of results
• Warranties about the security of your device or network

You use the Service at your own risk. Always verify output before relying on it for important purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dudi PDF Editor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Loss of data, documents, or files
• Errors or inaccuracies in tool or AI output
• Unauthorized access to your device or information
• Any other matter related to the Service

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which damages are sought.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect
• You may still access your own files (they're on your device, not ours)

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before new terms take effect.

By continuing to use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
